Growing up in Northern Michigan and being surrounded by the world’s largest collection of freshwater, there is no wonder why Kwin Morris is so drawn to it. He has been paddling, surfing and swimming in a water Mecca his entire entire life. Kwin tried Stand Up paddling for the first time on a surf trip to Hawaii and now not a day goes by that he his not training or on some paddle adventure, usually with his two dogs.
Kwin has jumped straight into the race scene around the Great Lakes and has begun racking up victories on the local circuit. He is equally as passionate about the adventures the sport of Standup Paddling has to offer. Planning to paddle across all five Great Lakes, he already has a 72 mile, 24 hour crossing of Lake Michigan in the bag. When he is not paddling, Kwin teaches science at a public school and owns a paddle board rental company.
