Quiksilver Waterman blog features Tahoe SUP ambassador, Justin Riney from Expedition Florida 500
Tahoe SUP and Quiksilver Waterman ambassador, Justin Riney, has just completed the first of 4 warm up paddles for the year long Expedition Florida 500. The “Conservation Paddles” as they are called will take Riney and fellow XF500 paddlers to waterways around Florida to raise awareness of the project and begin the valuable training needed for the year long XF500 during 2013. The crew also gets to test out new prototype Tahoe SUP boards that are custom made for the journey. Information about how you can own one of these custom Tahoe SUP/Mother Ocean/Quiksilver boards will soon be available!
Riney will continue to be featured on the Quiksilver blog, detailing legs of the adventure on stand up paddle boards. Paddle boards are quickly becoming an incredible device for raising awareness for ocean and water related issues around the world. As the sport of SUP continues it’s incredible rise in popularity, more and more people are becoming sensitive to the importance of protecting aquatic environments for future generations to enjoy. These Conservation Paddles and ultimately the XF500 are designed to do just that!
