Stampede reservoir is a popular spot for water recreation of all kinds. Fishing, motorized boat and personal watercraft use, and water skiing.
Board Style Recommendation: A touring standup paddle board will provide a very enjoyable experience by cutting through the flat water at Stampede Reservoir. Stampede Reservoir has great Kokanee Salmon fishing, so a fishing standup paddle board will be right at home.

Things to know: The one boat launch access does not allow novice paddlers to paddle the reservoir in sections, unless they paddle back and fourth along the southern shore.
