Bob PurdyTahoe Sup Ambassador

Bio: Hailing from the wild and pristine west coast of Vancouver Island in British  Columbia, Canada, Bob has utilized the perspective he gained from his standup paddleboard to share his vision of protecting and preserving Planet Earth. To increase awareness to this cause, Bob has spearheaded Paddle for the Planet that is focused on “changing the way we live on the planet” and has humbly gone about paddling every day since January 1, 2011. On June 22, 2016, he marks his 2000 consecutive day getting on his board.

Bob also founded World Paddle for the Planet Day, which he hopes to create a global movement, since “paddlers can relate to our message because being out on the water leads to a love our your surroundings and what we love we will protect.” When Bob is not working in his neighborhood co-op grocery store, he and his wife Sharon spend their free time making sure we send a healthy and vibrant Planet to the future generations.

You can catch Bob in “The Paddler” movie or listen in to him as a frequent guest on the Sup Radio Show
